Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Create a free account, confirm your email, and you start with 5 welcome credits — enough for one full 4-layer song, recorded in the booth and mixed & mastered by the studio. One song, once per artist. After that, the Mobile plan keeps the music coming.
Do I need headphones to record?
Wired earbuds — the plug-in kind with a cable (not Bluetooth), even the basic ones that came with your phone — give you the cleanest takes: the beat plays only in your ears, so the mic captures just your voice. Bluetooth is great for listening but switches to call mode while recording, and with no headphones the speaker bleeds into your take. Plug in, run auto-calibrate once in the booth settings, and you'll record dead in time.
Do my credits roll over?
Your monthly plan credits reset each cycle — use them or lose them. But credits from top-up packs never expire: buy a pack today, use it whenever the bars are ready.
What if a master comes out wrong?
If a master fails to process, no credit is charged — run it again. And you can re-take any layer or punch in on a single section before mastering, as many times as you want, for free.
Can I use my own beats?
Yes — import your own beat straight into the booth, or grab one from the Fortes rotation. Your vocals ride whatever you bring.
Do I keep my masters?
100% yours. Every master belongs to the artist — no splits, no strings. Download and release wherever you want.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. Plans are monthly — upgrade, downgrade or cancel anytime.
How is this different from apps like Rapchat or BandLab?
They record. We record, mix and master. On those apps you still have to make the mix sound right — that's the hard part, and it's the part we do for you.
